Shop Rules:

Be nice + Be safe + Have fun

Take care of the shop & each-other

If someone is behaving in a way that is unsafe or unkind, we will do our best to resolve any problems as they come. However, we reserve the right to ask a participant to leave if they continue to disrupt the experience of other workers (without refund).

Please let us know if you have a need for accommodations that we can plan for in advance; including severe allergies, special needs, and/or making the space functional for those with physical limitations, etc. It is our goal to make the shop safe and inviting for all.

Kids:

We have some scholarship funds for our children’s programming. Please contact us directly for more information.

Make your child's experience in the shop, the best one possible!

Unless otherwise specified, all of our programs and camps including homeschool days are drop-off programs.

We ask that you arrive no more than 5 minutes before the class to drop-off or pick-up. We also ask that you pick-up at the listed dismissal time.

Late pick-ups may be subject to a $1/minute fee

Please dress your child for success:

  • Clothes that can get messy
  • Closed toed shoes only. No flip-flops, crocs, or sandals of any kind
  • Tie back long hair

Let us know anyway that we can support your children. Learning differences, quirks, fears, allergies, interests, etc.

Day Camps

Find required forms here.

We may walk to a nearby park for day camps: please check the weather and send along the proper gear (rain jacket, hats, etc.)

We provide nutritious snacks with gluten and dairy-free options for all day camps.

Please provide a nut-free lunch for your child.

Pack a well fitting backpack with the following essentials:

  • sunscreen
  • water bottle
  • hat
  • non-leaking water bottle

Adults:

Adult workshops are BYOB and 21+ adults may consume alcohol during workshops only after they have finished using any tools (power or otherwise).

We’ve had folks asking about tipping our instructors, we say, go for it! They work their tails off to bring you the best workshop possible.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Registrations are non-refundable for all events. Please check your dates carefully. If you need to cancel, you must do so 7 days prior to the workshop or camp in order to receive a C&a credit or transfer. Our instructors work really hard to organize, purchase and prep materials in advanced. You may transfer registrations to other participants at any time, just keep us in the loop.

We are unable to offer refunds or credits if you or your child are unable to attend an event due to illness or other factors. Make-up afternoon tinker sessions maybe be offered so that a child may finish up missed work.

Workshops maybe cancelled if less than 4 participants are registered 48 hours prior to the event. In the case of a cancellation, we will contact participants with a refund and/or alternative date options.

Please contact us with any further questions or inquiries. Thanks for being part of the C&a. We'll see you in the shop soon.
