In this four hour class, you will be using bandsaws, gouges, and knives, plus rasps, sandpaper, and oil to craft your own unique spoon. Spoon designs will be provided, as well as the direction and guidance in designing your own. As we work, any woodworking topic of interest may be brought up like grain, wood, design, sharpening etc. Students will leave with a finished utensil, as well as the skill set to continue their carving journey at home.
